Promotion recognizes key management success and dedicated responsibility
ST. LOUIS (July 16, 2021) – Central States Water Resources (CSWR), one of the largest investor-owned water and wastewater utilities in the U.S., today announced that Jo Anna McMahon has been promoted to director of environment, health and safety (EHS).
In her new role, McMahon will lead company-wide standards of excellence across more all of CSWR’s owned and operated water and wastewater systems, ensuring for consistent, effective, efficient and compliant operational compliance.
“Jo Anna has been invaluable in helping expand our Southeast portfolio of water and wastewater services through our utility operating companies and provides excellent operational management,” said Josiah Cox, president and CEO of CSWR. “Jo Anna is an example of the top-rate team talent we have at CSWR.”
With more than 20 years of industry experience managing teams of operators and regulatory and environmental compliance specialists, McMahon joined CSWR in 2020 as Regional Manager of the company’s Louisiana portfolio which operates as Magnolia Water Utility Operating Company, managing the operation of 177 water and wastewater systems across the state.
“I am excited to continue driving CSWR’s mission forward in providing excellent water and wastewater service to communities across the United States,” said McMahon, who will lead operations and management across CSWR’s portfolio of operating companies while also continuing to engage with regulators, commissioners, and partners across the nation. “Working with CSWR has been an amazing adventure thus far, and I look forward for what is to come.”
