Jon Brown Joins Central States Water Resources as Compliance Inspector

SAINT LOUIS, MO (July 28, 2022) – Central States Water Resources (CSWR), the twelfth-largest investor-owned water and wastewater utility in the U.S., announced Jon Brown has joined the company as a compliance inspector.

Brown will be located in Canton, Mississippi, and work with state regulatory agencies and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on water and wastewater issues in Mississippi (Great River Utility Operating Company), Florida (CSWR-Florida) and Arkansas (CSWR-Arkansas).

“We’re fortunate to add the type of talent and experience that Jon brings to Central States and are thrilled to have him on our team.” said Jo Anna McMahon, CSWR’s Director of Environmental, Health & Safety.

A native of Vicksburg, Mississippi, Brown has worked in water and wastewater for 22 years, most recently with Inframark for the past 15 years, and with TESI prior to then.

“I really admire the vision we have at Central States,” said Brown. “I’ve seen these smaller systems that have gotten left behind because they don’t have the resources required. We’re bringing them up to regulatory standards. The reality is that people in underserved communities deserve quality of water and wastewater services.”
